Messenger Public Library is always looking for individuals who would like to donate time to the library. Whether you have an hour a week or several hours, you can help out at the library.
Ever been unable to find items that were supposed to be on the shelf? Adopt your favorite category, keep the materials there in order, shelve materials, clean book covers, and dust shelves. We are also looking for people who like to play! You can help out at some of our events in Youth Services
The library is grateful for the group of volunteers who come to the library on a scheduled basis and assist with daily functions, projects, and promotions. Adult Services Librarian, Mary Osorio, has taken on the role of Volunteer Coordinator. Mary is responsible for matching volunteers with various projects in each of the library's departments. Students who need community service hours for graduation or service organization requirements are welcome to contact the library for volunteer opportunities.
The library invites volunteers to call Mary Osorio at 630.896.0240 x 2305 or email her at mosorio@northaurora.lib.il.us.
