You are here
Are you a teen going into grade 7 or above next fall?
Do you want to earn services hours, gain work experience,
help your library, and make new friends?
Then apply to become a 2012 Summer Reading Teen Volunteer!
Click here for more information and a copy of the application!
We're adding new shelves to make room for all of the books and graphic novels
in the Teen Area (yay!). However, until the dust has settled, most of the
teen collection will not be available (boo!). We hope to have a shiny, new
Teen Area ready for you by the end of April. Until then, feel free to stop in
and admire the work in progress! Questions? Visit the Youth Services Desk!
Then vote for the Teen Book of the Year in the Children's Choice Book Awards!
A list of finalists is available from Children's Book Week Online,
and you can vote for your choice in Book of the Year, Author of the Year,
and Illustrator of the Year between now and May 3, 2012.
Teens in grades 7-12 can click here to go to the Teen Voting page!
