New Shelving Units To Be Installed April 2012
The Messenger Public Library is growing! Our collections are beginning to fill-up our shelves. In March 2012 the Library Board appoved the expenditure of up to $32,000 for the purchase, delivery, and installation of several new shelving and display units to house the following collections: young adult/teen fiction, young adult/teen graphic novels and comics, adult science fiction and non-fiction as well as adult romance and general fiction. The non-print collection has also grown in size. New shelving will be installed for the growing collection of DVDs, music CDs, books on cd, books on mp3s, and video games. The new shelving will be installed in April with the project completed by April 23rd. While staff is working on this project patrons will find some of the collections listed above unavailable for short periods of time. Staff will keep this time to a minimum. The Library Board and Staff are working hard to provide the materials most in demand by North Aurora residents. Please feel free to comment on this project by sending the Library Administrator an e-mail at . Thank-you for your continued support of the Library.
