What's Happening in Adult Services

 Book Clubs

The Messenger Public Library has two monthly book clubs - the Messenger Library Book Discussion Group, which meets on a Wednesday evening, and the Morning Coffee Break with a Book, which meets on a Tuesday morning.  Click here to see what books we're reading, and come and join us!

Computer Classes

The Library holds regular computer classes to help you get started using a computer, introduce you to a new program, or help you navigate the web.  Click here to see what classes the library is currently offering.

The Fiber Group

For those who knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch or enjoy any other fiber art - this is a friendly gathering for all skill levels where you expand your knowledge and enjoyment. Bring your project!  On evenings when a group instructor is available, get tips and help with your project or start a new one with provided supplies. This group meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM.

Geneaology Drop-In Group

This group meets the second Monday of every month from 7:00-8:30 PM. Bring your genealogy questions and hear a short talk on current genealogy topics. Local author and genealogist Tim Pinnick will offer guidance and expertise.
